Why balance the wheels
An unbalanced wheel hammers at speed — the steering, bearings, shock absorbers and the tyre itself all suffer. Balancing removes the vibration and extends the life of the suspension.
How it works
We spin the wheel on the balancing machine, and it shows the imbalance points. We fit weights of the right mass — clip-on or adhesive ones for alloy wheels — and check again.
When balancing is needed
At a seasonal tyre change, after a wheel repair or an impact, and always when steering vibration appears at a certain speed. And if it also shakes under braking — it's worth looking at the geometry and the discs.
